I edited together some recent video of me driving on some fun roads.

It was finally a semi cloudy day, and i found the good camera mount. I sped up most of the video since it probably would have been boring at normal speed. Plus side is that it makes the engine sound like a motorcycle! Tell me what you think of it. And besides the obvious need for a better camera angle, what else should i change?

Was comforted to see you don't shuffle steer or appear to cross any double-yellows. Good driving!

Funny, when sped up I kept cringing at your corner entry speed cause I'm like, "That's way too fast for a Prelude, you're gonna crash!"

Not a fan of crossing the yellows. On these roads with limited visibility i try very hard not to. Road hazards and joggers are the exception however. The rack in pinion setup on the car also helps the fact that you can keep your hands in control of the wheel even in tight turns.

hahah, Ive only experience understeer once, and that was induced by going over a crest with a turn way too fast. Scary, but awesome.

Nice, your camera mount is much more solid than my iPhone taped to the sun visor method. Motorcycle sounds were pretty funny. It's hard to get a good sense of speed with a cockpit mount without speeding it up or anything.

Hahaha the beginning to that first vid is awesome. Tire squealing start. Ive only chirped my tires in the wet.... And i have a distinct lack (or inability) of oversteer... But im okay with it. I love Vtec too much. Its the closest to a turbo you can get without boost.

I assume its a Z because of the thumbnail in your other videos. But i was able to at least make out a v6 engine before i saw the answer.

ALso, suction cups my friend. They make suction cup mounts with coupling attachments that bend and twist with the mounting screw on the end for the camera. I had that camera mounted at the top of the rear passenger mini window. And wedged some microfiber towels between the camera and the window to soak up vibrations. Id recommend that for your ghetto rigged iphone mount. Paper towels work well to if you gotta do it on the cheap.

Yeah i need to invest in a camera and a decent mount for it. And good ear with the v6, I actually think the 350z just kind of sounds like a blender from the inside.

The 'lude has always had a special place in my heart, even if I'm generally more into rwd. It's a gorgeous design and the H22 has always been my favorite Honda engine. Torque and vtec, have you're cake and eat it too!

Nobody has ever done sporty cheap fwd cars like Honda did in the 90s.

Anyway here's more oversteer just because.

THAT WAS BRILLIIANT! Why dont you post these up! that was awesome.

The 350 was a car that i kind of wish i looked into more. I absolutely love their looks. I just wish they sat a bit lower. My neighbor has a black one, he NEVER drives. It sits all clean in his driveway, never to touch the street. Maybe one day ill go over and ask him if he'd ever sell it...

Rwd will be my next car. I will make sure of it. But im quite happy with the prelude. I dont think ill ever sell it. I couldnt have asked for a better engine.

I will say that prelude wasnt cheap at 25K back in the 90's.... I think thats a factor that lead to its demise.

But yeah, get some new camera equipment! I may get a go pro if i can swing the funds....
